My Story

About Me

I’m Lucy Gleeson, and I created Sentience Wellbeing to bring the latest psychology, neuroscience, and mind-body techniques into the workplace—supporting wellbeing so people can perform at their best and thrive in any industry.

My work is built on what we know about the human psyche in that 95% of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are driven by the unconscious mind. This means that lasting change doesn’t happen through logic alone—it requires working with the deeper layers of the nervous system, uncovering unconscious patterns, and integrating mind and body for true transformation.

My History

I started my career as a lecturer in higher education before moving into leadership roles in Learning & Development and Sales at a global pharmaceutical company. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals and teams across industries, always drawn to one core question:

"Why do some people thrive and achieve extraordinary things, while others feel stuck?"

There are many factors, but time and time again, it comes back to wellbeing and mindset. When these are aligned, people step into their full potential, leading with clarity, confidence, and impact.

My Approach

My passion for personal growth, wellbeing, and human potential led me to pursue a Master’s in Integrative Psychotherapy. Now, I integrate psychological insight, energy psychology, and the latest neuroscience with practical leadership strategies—helping individuals, teams, and organisations make the connection between wellbeing and performance.

I stay at the forefront of research and innovation, ensuring the people and companies I work with have access to the most effective and forward-thinking approaches. In addition to my corporate work, I run a private psychotherapy practice in Cookham, Berkshire.
